Lynn Chase
OWNER & FOUNDER, LOAN OFFICER NMLS# 1651156
Lynn holds a B.A. in Business Administration and a J.D. from the Kent College of Law. After law school, Lynn became the mayor of his hometown. As mayor, his focus was on community and infrastructure development, bringing in federal grants to help better the community for its residents. After his term as mayor, Lynn became the executive director of an eight-county regional planning commission where he facilitated the construction of low and moderate income housing using his skills in community finance. In his role as executive director, he created housing authorities for several towns within the region, continuing his mission of helping people live better lives. The 1980s Farm Crisis brought Lynn back into practicing law, where he successfully saved 17 family farms from bankruptcy and sparked a long career as a bankruptcy attorney, filing over 6,500 bankruptcies during his law career, and giving just as many people a second chance. After retiring from practicing law, Lynn became a law professor, teaching paralegals at a local community college, where he now holds the Professor Emeritus designation for dedication to the field. While teaching, Lynn began working part time as a loan officer and mortgage broker. His prior work had shown him the importance of home ownership and how critical it is to be done with honesty and integrity. Today, Lynn serves clients with the same honesty and integrity he brought to the courtroom and the classroom. -
